Shreveport Police are still looking for clues in the death of a Bossier City woman Thursday night.

Officers were called to the 1200 block of Dalzell Street where a woman was hit by a car in the parking lot at Great Raft Brewery. The woman has been identified as 72-year-old Jeanelle Berger of Bossier City. She was apparently walking across the lot when she was hit. The driver of the car, 73-year-old William Berger of Bossier City, was detained by officers.

Investigators have collected video and other evidence. William Berger was transported to the Shreveport Police Complex where he voluntarily submitted to testing. Initial findings showed no sign of impairment. William Berger has been released from police custody.
