Woman Killed in North Shreveport Wreck

An investigation is underway into a three-vehicle wreck that's claimed the life of a woman.  Shreveport police say the wreck happened just after two yesterday afternoon -- on North Market at Poleman Road.  Officers say the woman was driving south in an SUV when, for some reason, it crossed the center line and collided with two northbound trucks.  She was air-lifted to LSU Hospital where she later died.  A child in the SUV was also taken to LSU by ambulance.  No names have been released.
