Woman Dies In Rollover Wreck

Melissa Swenson, 38, has died after being involved in a single-car, rollover accident on East Texas Street in Bossier Saturday afternoon. Bossier City Police say that Swenson lost control of her SUV, hit a guard rail and flipped into a ditch filled with water in the 7200 block of East Texas.

Rescue crew were able to get her vehicle upright and rescue her from the wreckage. Unfortunately, Swenson died Sunday morning due to her injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
