Woman Charged with Battering Husband

A Keithville woman faces charges for allegedly stabbing her husband and hitting him on the head with a hammer.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says deputies and EMS were called to the 6400 block of Caspiana Lane to reports of a domestic issue. When they arrived, they found 45-year-old William 'Shane' Cordova suffering from a head wound and stab wounds to his back.

Deputies learned that the incident stemmed from a day-long argument between Cordova and his 40-year-old wife, Brandy. Shane was injured during the ordeal.

Mr. Cordova was taken to a local hospital with serious wounds, but once he arrived he refused treatment and left. Brandy was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on an aggravated second-degree battery charge.
