Woman Charged in Domestic Dispute

An Elm Grove woman is jailed in Shreveport after a domestic dispute turned violent. 22-year-old Antonio Washington is being treated at LSU Health for non-life threatening wounds to his head, torso, and arm. Police say he and 22-year-old Shayumbra Thomas apparently got into an argument at Washinton’s home on Prentiss Avenue and, during that argument, she allegedly attacked him with some type of object. Thomas has been arrested on one count of aggravated battery.
