Woman Arrested for Stealing from Employer

The former bookkeeper at a North Caddo oil field production company has been arrested on a warrant charging her with stealing from the company.

Sheriff Steve Prator says 58-year-old Carol Ann Williamson, of Ida, was arrested on a 2010 warrant charging her with criminal theft.
Williamson's former employer told Sheriff's deputies that more than $60,000 was missing from his company.
An internal audit traced at least half of the missing money to Williamson.
Sheriff's detective Frank Edmondson says Williamson worked for Tri State Sales and Productions between 2002 and 2009. She supposedly took leave because of illness.
