Wiener Dog Races

Harrah's Louisiana Downs and Robinson's Rescue are again teaming up for the Labor Day Wiener Dog Races on Monday, September 5th. All of the proceeds from the day's activities go to support Robinson's Rescue -- the low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Thirty-two dachshunds will be randomly selected from all of the entries. If you've got a pure-bred weenie dog that you'd like to enter, you can find a registration form along with all the rules and regulations on the Louisiana Downs website under Promotions and Events. Or you can try this rather lengthy link.  The deadline to enter is September first and if your pooch is one of those chosen to race, you'll be notified by phone or email.
