Why the Delay In Opening the New Aquarium?

Planet Aqua spokesman Jake Wood talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin about the recently announced delay of Shreveport's new downtown aquarium.

The new aquarium, originally set to open August 31, will now debut in late September or early October. Wood explains to KEEL listeners that Planet Aqua decided to make improvements and upgrades prior to opening, as opposed to starting a new construction project just a few months after launch. He also gives details regarding the expansion of the aquarium restaurant, SALT, and improvements in the original parking plan.
