White House Structure in South Bossier is Gone

Olympus is falling!

Crews have been busy in South Bossier dismantling the massive White House structure that was built for the movie “Olympus Has Fallen”. I was surprised to see that the pillars from the front of the White House were made out of styrofoam.  A big chunk of one of the pillars weighs less than a pound.  Crews have removed the structure just north of the CenturyLink Center and will be doing some dirt work to get the site back to the condition it was in before filming began. The movie stars Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Angela Bassett, and Dylan McDermott. The movie wraps up filming on Friday. It’s set for release in early 2014.
