Which State Has the Most Winter Olympic Athletes?

Are you excited about the start of the Winter Olympics this week? The games are in PyeongChang, South Korea February 9-25th.

Which state do you think is sending the most athletes to the games to represent the United States? It's no surprise, Colorado tops that list with 21 athletes. Louisiana has no athletes on the list of participants.Texas has 3 athletes at the games including Sam McGuffie and Justin Olsen on the U.S. Bobsled team. Georgia also has 2 men on the Bobsled team: Chris Kinney for the men and Elana Meyers Taylor for the women.

Opening ceremonies kick off on Friday night. Two of my favorite winter Olympic sports, curling and alpine skiing are a couple of the first events to take place during the games this year. The first action for the US Hockey team is Sunday afternoon at 1:40 PM CST with the US women taking on Finland.  On Wednesday, the 14th the men take to the ice at 6:10 AM CST to take on Slovenia.
