More than 20,000 young people in Louisiana will take part in the 6th annual Lemonade Day. It's a day set aside to teach young people between the ages of 4 and 18 about entrepreneurship and character development .

Each group setting up a lemonade stand were given a free backpack with information about how to set up and manage a stand. The goal of the program is to encourage the young people to "spend a little, save a little and share a little by donating a portion of their sales to a local charity".

This day continues to grow as more than 30 corporate sponsors have teamed up to support this year’s Lemonade Day.
