What’s Happening in Shreveport for Cinco de Mayo?

Cinco de Mayo this year is this coming Sunday, but this weekend is full of fun events happening in Shreveport-Bossier.

Saturday features two major events, a Cinco de Mayo festival in Festival Plaza beginning at 10 a.m. and the Cuatro de Mayo Party at Harrah's Louisiana Downs which starts at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, the Shreveport Dog Park Alliance will be hosting a dog wash at Marilynn's Place on Fern Avenue in Shreveport in an effort to raise funds for a lawsuit against Mayor Cedric Glover over the Shreveport Dog Park.
