Today and tomorrow at 8 p.m. -- Louisiana Rodeo Cowboy Association's Third Annual Ray Forcier Memorial Rodeo. At Benton Riding Club Arena off of Hwy. 3.

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. -- Movies and Moonbeams at Chris Hays Community Center. "The Smurfs" is the featured movie.

Tomorrow from 10 a.m. til 2 p.m. -- Chevyland's Grand Re-Opening. Lots of fun activities and food. Hourly drawings for gifts and prizes. Dealership is located at 7500 Youree Drive.

Tomorrow -- Southern Showcase at Louisiana Downs.

Tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. -- Halloween treats being collected for our troops overseas. Drop off candy and treat bags to American Climate-Controlled Storage on Pines Road.

Tomorrow from 9-11 a.m. -- Academy Day at LSU-S University Center. Event features Louisiana U.S. Senator David Vitter and Congressman John Fleming. Find out more about various military academies from cadets who attend them.

Tomorrow from 9 a.m. to noon -- Super Safety Saturday at Sheriff's Safety Town. Features include Health & Safety Fair, Bike Rodeo and Touch-a-Truck attraction. Designed to teach kids about internet, bike, fire and water safety. Also includes free car seat check.

Tomorrow from 8-10 p.m. -- Shreveport-Bossier Astronomical Society's free public lunar party in celebration of International Observe the Moon Night. Going on at the Ralph A. Observatory eight miles south of the LSUS campus.

Tomorrow from 4-7 p.m. -- Shreveport Dog Park Alliance's "Wine & Whine, a Dog Park Art Affair" at the Karpeles Museum. Features breads & spreads, and art work for sale -- including special signed and numbered prints of a painting created by Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Tomorrow from 11 a.m. til 4 p.m. -- Yogie and Friends semi-annual bake sale and fundraiser. Going on at Petco on Youree Drive.

Sunday at 2 p.m. -- Louisiana Bicentennial Exhibit opens with an educational program at Louisiana State Exhibit Museum on Greenwood Road. View the exhibit until 4 that afternoon, and next Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. til 4 p.m.
