What Kind of Spider is This?

Found this creepy crawler hanging out in the clay pot in the Town Square Media back yard. I know it’s difficult to see from the picture, but it looks to me like it has a red hourglass on its hind end (looks like a big red blob in the photo). Black widow, right? It’s a big freaky, let me tell you. Should I kill it…or leave it alone?
