A shooting last night in west Shreveport leaves a local teenager nursing a gunshot wound. It happened just after 9 o'clock at the intersection of Union Avenue and W. 70th Street. That's where patrol officers found 18-year-old Dshundre Harris, who was taken to LSU Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

Detectives have found out that Harris and another man were apparently walking in the 6600 block of Clift Avenue, when a third man they knew walked up and tried to start a fight. That guy is said to have pulled a handgun and fired several shots, one of them hitting Harris. Police are trying to identify and catch the shooter. Call them or Crime Stoppers if you have information that can help.
