State health officials say we've recorded one more death and eleven more cases of West Nile virus in Louisiana in the past week.  That brings our totals for the year to 382 cases and 17 deaths.  Of the new cases, four were the most serious neuroinvasive disease.  There was one each in Bossier, Calcasieu, St. Helena, and Winn Parishes.  Five more were West Nile Fever -- in Bossier, Cameron, Concordia, East Feliciana, and Orleans Parishes.  The remaining two were asymptomatic which means they were only detected when the infected person had blood work done for some other reason.  Those were in Grant and Point Coupee Parishes.
