Weekend Cone Carnage

The Mighty Mini

I spent this past weekend in my hometown of San Antonio — at an SCCA Divisional autocross.  A total of 84 drivers from Texas and Louisiana made the trek for the two-day event and, for the first time in the past several years, I actually had some competition in my class.  Two guys showed up in a Triumph Spitfire.  I beat the car’s owner but his co-driver beat me.

Here’s a link to some in-car video of my best Saturday run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tyc36h2osio

And here’s my best Sunday run: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJCeWVC5LJY

Our next local event will be this coming Sunday, June 26th, on the big parking lot at the dead end of Coleman St. in Bossier City.
