A Webster Parish dispatcher is in some hot water. Sheriff Gary Sexton says 21-year-old Anthony Lane Baker of Doyline was arrested following an investigation into his alleged indecency with two juveniles. Tuesday, complaints were made to sheriff's investigators by parents of the victims. At that time, Sheriff Sexton placed Baker on administrative leave. Sexton received word today from Baker's attorney that he has opted to resign from the Sheriff's Office. Baker is accused of soliciting two juveniles -- aged 15 and 16 -- for sex and offering them alcoholic beverages on different occasions. Sheriff Sexton says no physical advances were made, but the requests were "highly illegal, lewd and unacceptable." Baker was booked into Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center on two counts each of indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation -- and five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. More charges are possible as the investigation continues.
