Water Main Repairs to Inconvenience Intersection of Gilbert & Atkins in Shreveport

Repairs of a water main and storm drainage box will have a Shreveport intersection shut down starting next week. 

The Department of Water and Sewerage will be doing the work at 8:00 a.m. at Gilbert Drive and Atkins beginning Monday, January 6th, 2014.  Repairs are expected to be completed by Monday, January 20th.

Cars and small trucks can detour on Kings Highway to Highland to Forest to Gilbert.  Large trucks can take Kings to Highland to Ockley to Gilbert.
