Shreveport detectives have identified the man they think was responsible for a March first shooting near the intersection of Burke Street and Parkridge Street in west Shreveport.

The 18-year-old victim of that shooting was wounded in the leg and refused medical treatment.

Since then, detectives have gathered information and evidence which they say links 20-year-old Jamarzia Leonard of the 6400 block of Quillen Boulevard to the shooting. They've obtained a warrant for his arrest charging him with one count of aggravated second-degree battery and setting his bond at $100,000.

If you should know where he might be, you're asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 or online at www.lockemup.org.  There could be a reward in it for you.
