Wanted Man

Shreveport police are asking the public for help in locating a man accused of beating a woman and shooting her car last month.A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 24-year-old Jerry Foster.  Detectives say Foster and his then-girlfriend, York Crawford, got into a fight in the 4800 block of McDaniel Drive on March 13th.  They say he started beating her with his fists then, when she tried to defend herself with a golf club, they say he took that away and beat her with it, too.  Detectives say Foster than pulled out a handgun and started firing shots into Crawford's car and home before leaving.  Foster's last known address was in the 5400 block of Norton Street.  Detectives are asking anybody who knows anything about his whereabouts to call them (673-6955) or Crime Stoppers (673-7373).  They say Foster should be considered armed and dangerous.
