Wanted Fugitive Arrested in Caddo Parish

A Vivian man wanted on an active arrest warrant was arrested early this morning during a Caddo Parish traffic stop.

Patrol deputies stopped 35-year-old Rondey Thomas on Roy Road for a speeding violation, and later discivered he was wanted on an arrest warrant for simple battery. Deputies also discovered over half-a-pound of suspected marijuana during a search of Thomas' vehicle.

Thomas was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for the simple battery warrant, along with marijuana possession and speeding.
