[UPDATE]  A Crime Stoppers tip leads to the arrest of an alleged hotel robber. After video was released from the Days Inn Hotel robbery on West Monkhouse Drive, callers to Crime Stoppers helped identify the man in the footage as 30-year-old Quincy Young of Shreveport. Investigators found him at a home on Marion Place. They also found a weapon -- and a Lincoln Town Car there that matched the description of the vehicle seen driving away from hotel after the robbery. Young is now in the city jail on an armed robbery charge.

[ORIGINAL STORY]  Police need your help in identifying and apprehending a suspect who robbed a west Shreveport hotel Monday afternoon.

At approximately 1:46 p.m. Friday February 25, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the Days Inn hotel in the 4900 block of West Monkhouse Dr. An on scene witness told investigators that a black male suspect, wearing a camouflage jacket and a red baseball cap entered the hotel and pointed a handgun at the clerk. The suspect then fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses tell authorities that they observed what appeared to be a maroon colored four door Lincoln, possibly a Town Car, leaving the business parking lot moments after the suspect fled from the lobby.
