Victim in Thursday Slaying Named

A man shot and killed in central-southwest Shreveport late Thursday has been identified by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

35-year-old DeMarco Hill was shot at least twice in the head while sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of a liquor store at Union Avenue and 70th Street.

Police were called to the scene just before 11 p.m. after getting reports of gunfire in the area. Hill, dead at the scene, was taken to University Health hospital for autopsy.
