Veterans Day Observance Today

Patriotic music and a keynote address from Louisiana's most highly decorated living Vietnam veteran will be among the highlights of today's big Veterans Day observance on the Clyde Fant Parkway.  Program Coordinator Carroll Michaud says the public's invited.  The program, itself, begins at 1:30 but it will be preceded by about thirty-minutes of patriotic music from the Southwood High School band and chorus.  The Southwood ROTC unit will be there, too, to present some precision drill maneuvers.
