UPDATE: Allendale Shooting

Shreveport police are investigating an early-morning shooting that left a man dead in Shreveport's Allendale neighborhood. Just after 4 this morning, patrol officers were called to what was initially reported as an assault and battery in the 200 block of Webster Street. When they got there, they found a man lying in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
