Two Overnight House Fires Suspicious

Two suspicious fires overnight in the same general neighborhoos kept Shreveport fire fighters busy. The first was reported about 10:45 last night in the 21-hundred block of Portland. Then, about thirty minutes later, firefighters were called to the 14-hundred block of Kenneth. Fire investigators believe both fires were intentionally set and, based on witness statements, they do have a person of interest identified. If that person is found, he or she will be charged with simple arson and aggravated arson. Both houses were heavily damaged but there were no injuries reported from either fire.
