A two-alarm house fire in the 1700 block of Willow Ridge Boulevard damages two homes.

Up to 40 Shreveport firefighters were busy battling heavy smoke and flames for over an hour. The afternoon blaze burned through the roof with flames extending 15 feet above the
rear of the home and onto a neighbor’s home on Mirador Circle.
Battalion Chief Paul Stephenson, on-scene Incident Commander requested a second alarm to get additional manpower and equipment on the scene.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
