This Saturday, November 19th, Troopers will participate in a food drive sponsored by the Troop L Grant a Wish affiliate to benefit area families in need throughout the holiday season.

With economic hardships increasing each day, an alarming number of families are dealing with financial difficulties and forced to sacrifice meals in order make ends meet. Suggested donations are: Canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, canned white potatoes, canned sweet potatoes, cooking oil, Jello, Jiffy mix, canned tuna or chicken, broth , turkey gravy, stuffing mix, cake mix, cake icing, flour, sugar, spaghetti sauce, pasta, rice, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and oatmeal or grits.
