A trio of local teens is in jail for allegedly breaking into a vehicle early this morning in South Highlands. At about 2 o'clock this morning, Shreveport Police Officer Jonathan Varnell saw a young male holding a tote bag and standing near a vehicle with its door open in the 500 block of Dudley Drive. When Varnell confronted him, the guy took off running. After a brief foot chase, 18-year-old Jacody Wilson was taken into custody.
Officers recovered items taken from the vehicle on Dudley. Moments later and a few blocks away, assisting patrolmen located 18-year-olds Fabian Alexander and Kentravious Hardison. Evidence located on the two showed they were involved in the burglary, as well.
