Tree Falls on Caddo Sheriff’s Captain’s Car

A Caddo Sheriff's Office captain escaped with minor injuries after a huge tree fell onto his car.

Captain Larry Nunnery was headed north on Highway 538, near Crescent Road, when a large oak tree fell onto his vehicle. The impact blew out all four tires and pinned Captain Nunnery into the vehicle. Two men who witnessed the accident helped remove him from the car.

Residents in the area say the fallen tree took out some power lines, leaving them without electricity.
