Tragedy Leaves 7-Year-Old Boy Dead in Claiborne Parish
July 19, 2012 7:48 AM A Claiborne Parish boy is dead. The youngster was accidentally shot by another child.
It happened just West of Athens at a home on the Kemp Road. Sheriff Ken Bailey says the 7-year-old boy was shot in the head. He was air-lifted to a Shreveport hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting remains under investigation. The little boys name has not been released.
