A consumer watchdog group has released its annual list of the most hazardous summer toys.

The Massachusetts-based World Against Toys Causing Harm, or W.A.T.C.H., says toy guns and other toys that can lead to eye injuries are at the top of this year's list.

The report highlights warm weather safety traps and toys you should keep away from children. The report says more than 2.5 million children are injured in accidents every summer.

Topping this year’s list are toy guns and other air-born toys popular for outdoor play.

Here's the list:

1. Toy Guns with projectiles

2. Airborne toys like helicopters and boomerangs

3. Hover-boards

4. Baby pools

5. Flotation devices like water wings

6. Pool covers

7. Bounce houses and trampolines

8. Non motorized scooters

9. Drawstrings and bicycle helmet straps

10. Toys with small parts

In the three-year period between 2010 and 2012, an average of 26 children drowned in pools and spas over 4th of July week.

In 2013, 355 people drowned in pools and spas in the United States. About eighty-seven percent of fatal drownings to children under 5 years old occurred at someone’s home.
The group has released a "worst toys" list for more than 30 years.
