Toys R Us filed for bankruptcy back in September and after a weak holiday season it's not looking good for the popular toy store. As someone who grew up being beyond excited to go to Toys R Us this news makes me sad but at the same time I must say I'm not surprised. More and more people are buying online instead of brick and mortar stores and this is just another example of this.

MSN is reporting that insiders say sales for Toys R Us are down at least 15% from this Christmas to last year. Toys R Us owns over 800 stores as of earlier this year but experts say they could be forced to close over 100 stores with the number possibly being closer to 200.

To make things worse Fox News reports that the toy chain despite money issues paid top executives between $16-32 Million in bonuses!
