Tornado Strikes Kids Soccer Game! (video)

This is frightening…it’s a cloudy day, windy but still ok for soccer, but then things changed.

It looks like the perfect day for soccer: nice weather and blue skies. But then suddenly a tornado forms in the middle of the soccer field, forcing the children and their coaches to run for cover. This video is a shocking reminder of how quickly weather can turn from fair to life-threatening and back again. Fortunately no one was injured. Japanese news station SBC originally reported the story.   The cyclone that struck the soccer game is more accurately considered a dust devil rather than a tornado, but try telling that to the kids hugging the ground as their tents are lifted into the air.
