Top Concert Tours Of 2011

I saw a few concerts last year, and a couple of them make this list. But I didn't catch too many of the biggies.

U2 pulled in big bucks on the road. The Irish group had the most profitable tour of the year...bringing in 230 million.
Taylor Swift (I did see her this year) had 2011's second most-profitable North American tour, pulling in nearly 98 million. Kenny Chesney is 3rd on the list with $85 million in ticket sales, followed by Lady Gaga, who, despite wrapping up the North American leg of her Monster Ball Tour in April, still managed to bring in $63.7 million at the box office. Bon Jovi rounds out Pollstar's top five, grossing more than $57 million.
