Three men who escaped from a Tensas Parish detention facility yesterday were captured this morning in west Shreveport.

Authorities had been searching for 35-year-old Travis Cox, 38-year-old Thomas Furry and 30-year-old Kindall Anderson. The trio managed to somehow escape from the Tensas Parish Detention Center where they were being housed.

Working off of information from confidential sources, Louisiana State Police troopers, the U.S. Marshals Office Fugitive Task Force, Louisiana Probation and Parole and members of the Shreveort Police Department's Special Response Team arrived at a home in the 3200 block of West College Street.

At the home, authorities located a 90's-model GMC truck that had been reported stolen. Police set up a perimeter around the area, then approached the home after seeing Furry standing in the front yard. All three men were arrested at the house without incident.

They've been booked into Caddo Correctional Center on fugitive warrants and will be returned to Tensas Parish to face additional charges.
