Bossier City Police Department Violent Crimes detectives have arrested three men in connection with the armed robbery of two women at a local hotel.

Police say 24-year-old Akeem Johnson, 22-year-old Devin Eason and 22-year-old Ronald Carley, Jr., are each charged with armed robbery.

The three are accused of robbing two women at gunpoint on January 26 inside a room at the Travelodge in the 700 block of DiamondJacks Boulevard. The suspects took personal items from the victims, who then contacted police. Neither woman was injured during the hold-up, but one was taken to a local hospital with difficulty breathing.

During their investigation, detectives were able to link the three men to the robbery and secure warrants for their arrests. Johnson was taken into custody last week and Carley was caught this morning, both without incident.

When police attempted to stop Eason in his vehicle near the intersection of Foster Street and Margaret Street, he jumped out and ran. He was caught after a brief foot chase. He faces an additional charge of resisting an officer.
