A Shreveport woman and two from Minden have been arrested for allegedly defrauding the state's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. An investigation by the state Department of Children and Family Services has resulted in the arrests of 38-year-old Linda Taylor of Shreveport, 34-year-old Amy Pullig of Minden, and 37-year-old Kemmitha Gipson, also from Minden. Taylor's accused of illegally obtaining more than $4-thousand in "SNAP" benefits by failing to report her employment. Pullig is accused of failing to report her husband as a household member to collect more than $12-thousand in SNAP benefits. Gipson is accused of obtaining more than $5-thousand in SNAP benefits by failing to report her household's employment. All three now face charges of felony theft.
