There’s A Purse Thief On The Loose

There's a thief amongst us.  Bossier Police say they're looking for a middle-aged woman who reportedly stole a woman's purse out of her shopping cart at the Wal Mart on Airline Drive back on May 28th.

She is caught on surveillance video at the Shreve City Wal Mart in Shreveport, where she is accused of going on a shopping spree with the victim's checkbook, which was in her wallet, inside the stolen purse... to the tune of $1,000.  

The suspect drove off in a maroon colored Chrysler New Yorker.

Bossier Crimestoppers is offering up a reward of $255 for information on the woman that leads to an arrest in the case.
