McKinney, Texas is just like every other town in Texas: They are crazy about their high school football. But in this spot just outside of Dallas, they've taken their love of the game to new extremes.

McKinney's voters have okay a tex referendum to build a new 12,000 seat stadium for its high school ballers, at the rather extravagant price of $62.8 million!

City politicians described the town as "visionary" after citizens passed a $220 million bond proposal to pay for the stadium and other school district improvements.

The stadium, which will be home field for all three of McKinney's high schools, is scheduled for completion by fall of 2017.
