Texas Man Dies Saving Two Boys

A North Texas man saved two young boys, but lost his own life in the Red River in Oklahoma.

The boys were swimming near the Denison Dam when the siren went off alerting people that the gates were about to open.  The boys got caught in the current.  38 year-old Kenneth Cowart jumped in and pulled one boy to safety and he pushed the other toward the shore.  But Cowart got caught in the current and drowned. Both boys are ok.
