Multiple news outlets are reporting that a New Boston, Texas, man is being questioned by authorities regarding his role in ricin-laced letters sent the New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, President Barack Obama, and Mayors Against Illegal Guns.
The New York Post and NBC New York are reporting that a man was taken into custody after his wife found suspicious materials in the refrigerator and noticed internet searches relating to ricin. She called the police.
The man is being described as a military veteran and now working as a civilian employee for the Department of Defense. He is in police custody, but is not officially considered a suspect in the case.
