Texas law enforcement will be working overtime soon, with the 11th annual "Click It, or Ticket" safety campaign about to get underway.  From May 21st through June 3rd,  including Memorial Day weekend, law officers will be out in force all over the state.

They'll be issuing citations for motorists who are not buckled up. And they can pull you over specifically for that offense, and you could pay a hefty fine. Police may also now issue tickets if anyone in the car is not buckled up, no matter if they're riding in the front or back.

 Fines and court costs for failing to fasten seat belts can add up to $250 or more.
