A Sunday afternoon fight at a local park leaves a teenager wounded and Shreveport police searching for whoever's responsible.

Detectives say two groups of people met for a fight at Southern Hills Metro Park in the 1000 block of Bert Kouns.  Afterward, a male from one of the groups reportedly fired a shot from a handgun, hitting 18-year-old Jamarisai Wade in the leg.  He was taken to Willis-Knighton South and later transferred to University Health, where he underwent surgery.

The investigation into what happened is still in its early stages, but investigators are confident those involved will be identified and caught.  They're asking anyone with information that can help them out to call Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
