Teenager Wounded During Fight at Southern Hills Metro Park in Shreveport
A Sunday afternoon fight at a local park leaves a teenager wounded and Shreveport police searching for whoever’s responsible.
Detectives say two groups of people met for a fight at Southern Hills Metro Park in the 1000 block of Bert Kouns. Afterward, a male from one of the groups reportedly fired a shot from a handgun, hitting 18-year-old Jamarisai Wade in the leg. He was taken to Willis-Knighton South and later transferred to University Health, where he underwent surgery.
