Princeton Elementary's Rosemary Grimm, named this weekend as the Louisiana Elementary Teacher of the Year credits both other instructors and her students for her achieve the award as top educator.

Grimm told 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty that she was "shocked and thrilled" when her name was called at the banquet in Baton Rouge Friday evening.

Grimm, who's been teaching English Language Arts for thirteen years, encourages younger teachers "don't give up" and "you get better the longer you teach."
