The Department of Louisiana Veterans of Foreign Wars has honored a member of the Bossier City Fire Department for outstanding service by awarding him a top state honor.

Bossier City police have a Vivian man in custody who's accused of stealing the trailer-mounted BBQ grill from VFW Post #4588. An investigation by the Property Crimes Unit found that 42-year-old Craig Vaughan took the grill January 8th and gave it to a man he knew in Vivan as collateral in exchange for a $375 loan

Reward Being Offered for Help Finding Stolen BBQ Grill

A BBQ grill was stolen from a local Veterans of Foreign Wars post...and Bossier City Police say a reward is being offered for information on whoever took it. The grill was taken earlier this month from the parking lot of Gandy Brown VFW Post #4588 in the 1000 block of Jeter Street
