I am 62-10 on the year and this could be the week that I get tested. Several big District games are on the menu this week.

It's time for the pigskin to fly. The high school football season kicks into gear this week. One of the big games of the year is on Thursday, September 1st when Byrd hosts West Monroe at Lee Hedges. You can hear this game on AM 1130 KWKH. Also this week, another game worth noting is Huntington on the road for a big test at Marshall. Here's the full schedule:

I was pouring over the list of High School games for this year and tried to find some of the biggest rivalries on the schedule. I pared the list to about 20 key matchups and them pared that down to these five HUGE games.

High School Football Kicks Off Tonight

The Bossier Parish Lions Club Jamboree is at Airline.

The first game features Plain Dealing and Bossier at 6. The next game on the bill is Benton and Haughton. The night wraps up with Airline and Parkway
