The Bossier Parish Water and Technical Emergency Response (W.A.T.E.R.) Task Force has completed its mission of helping south Louisiana flood victims.

The search for a missing east Texas fisherman in the Red River near Elm Grove was called off around 3:00 this afternoon.  That's according to the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Department.

The Shreveport Fire Department is finishing up an 80-hour urban search and rescue course designed to ensure that residents are protected in case of a natural or man-made catastrophe.
