Two projects on I-220 kicked off this morning. The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says one of them is in preparation for the extension of I-49 North in Caddo Parish.
A big asphalt overlay project kicked off this morning in Shreveport. Acting City Engineer Robert Westerman tells KEEL News the first streets crews are working on are Pines Road, from Buncombe south to the city limits, and Airport Drive from North Market to Grimmett. But there are many others on the list.
One of the projects listed below has been postponed, likely due to this morning's wet weather. I-49 North in DeSoto Parish will be down to one lane of traffic between Mile Marker 172 and 173 for roadway maintenance starting tomorrow...

Continuing through April 13th, LA 169 in Caddo Parish is closed east of LA 1 for construction of the new northbound roadway on LA 1. And from 7 tonight through 6 tomorrow morning, I-220 East to the I-20 East offramp in Bossier Parish is closed for bridge joint repairs...
